The Jordan Network for Education for All (JNEFA)—formerly known as the Jordan Coalition for Education for All—is a key and trusted civil society actor in Jordan’s education sector, at a time when the sector has been facing increasing pressures and challenges in recent years. The Network has consolidated its role as a bridge between local communities, government institutions, and regional education networks, contributing to the promotion of constructive dialogue and the development of education policies grounded in field realities and actual needs.
The Network’s work is driven by a firm belief in the importance of engaging local organizations and community actors in education and school-related processes, to ensure that policy recommendations are based on real evidence at both the local and national levels. With the support of the Education Out Loud program, JNEFA works to expand capacity-building programs for its members in the field of advocacy, strengthen their policy analysis skills, and intensify their engagement with marginalized groups—particularly girls, youth, refugees, and children with disabilities. These efforts contribute to advancing education reform at the national level, while at the same time reinforcing the regional work of the Arab Campaign for Education for All (ACEA) in collective advocacy and joint influence.
The Network believes that strengthening its institutional and technical capacities, as well as those of its members, is a fundamental entry point to amplifying the collective voice calling for inclusive, equitable, and diverse education systems. This approach enables Network members to influence national education reforms and, at the same time, strengthens ACEA’s regional efforts to advance collaborative, evidence-based advocacy for the right to education for all.
At the local level, JNEFA supports local communities to monitor policy implementation, gather evidence, and formulate recommendations through multi-stakeholder policy dialogue sessions. This bottom-up approach reflects the core of the Education Out Loud program, which focuses on citizen-led accountability, and aligns with ACEA’s regional strategies on community mobilization and civic participation.
The Network’s intervention is centered on a clear objective: ensuring that all children in Jordan have access to education through an inclusive approach aligned with the National Framework for Diversity and Inclusive Education developed by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with UNESCO. This means working to ensure that all children—including refugees and the most vulnerable learners—are enrolled in school and receive the support they need, so that no child is left behind in education.
